Jerry OConnell is apologizing to Wil Wheaton for not being there more for him while they were shooting 1986s Stand by Me as kids. He first gained international attention by starring in the Rob Reiner comedy-drama film Stand by Me 1986. The two had a mini-cast reunion Thursday on the set of the CBS talk show The Talk and OConnell used the occasion.

He also talks about how he wanted to make sure he didnt act like his parents and not make the same mistakes they did. The Next Generation Gordie Lachance in the film Stand by Me Joey Trotta in Toy Soldiers and Bennett Hoenicker in FlubberWheaton has also appeared in recurring voice acting roles as Aqualad in Teen Titans. Wheaton told the outlet that he suffered a combination of an incredible emotional abuse from my father and a lot of manipulation using me from my mother.
